2. Listing Your Items
- Be honest and detailed. Clearly describe your product — include dimensions, materials, condition (especially for pre-loved or vintage items), and any flaws.
- Use clear, original photos. Good lighting and simple backgrounds help buyers trust what they see.
- Set fair prices. Research similar listings and reflect the handmade value of your work or the uniqueness of your vintage items.
- Do not list prohibited items (e.g., counterfeit goods, unsafe materials, or copyrighted designs you don’t own).
3. Managing Orders
- Respond to messages promptly and politely — communication builds trust.
- Ship orders within the promised timeframe and provide tracking details.
- For made-to-order or customized items, clearly communicate estimated production and delivery times.
- Mark the order as “Shipped” once dispatched, and update the buyer if delays occur.
4. Payments and Fees
- All transactions must go through HobbyNest’s secure payment system.
- Avoid private payments or transfers outside the platform — they’re not protected.
- HobbyNest may charge a small service or transaction fee, which will be displayed before confirmation.
- Funds are released to your seller wallet after the buyer confirms receipt (or automatically after a set period).
5. Handling Returns and Disputes
- Set a clear return or refund policy on your profile so buyers know what to expect.
- Communicate calmly if an issue arises — most misunderstandings can be resolved through respectful dialogue.
- If no resolution is reached, you or the buyer can open a dispute through our Support Team.
- Always keep communication and evidence (messages, photos) within HobbyNest for protection.
6. Maintaining Trust
- Never share your personal data (like phone numbers, banking details, or home address) outside secure channels.
- Avoid false advertising, duplicate listings, or copying another seller’s content.
- Treat all buyers with courtesy and professionalism — even when things go wrong.
- Follow all HobbyNest policies to keep our community safe, creative, and fair.
7. Growing Your Shop
- Keep your shop active with regular updates and new listings.
- Encourage happy customers to leave positive reviews.
- Share your creative process or inspiration in your profile — people love to connect with real stories.
- Engage with the community: comment, share tips, and support fellow makers.
8. Violations and Account Suspension
HobbyNest may remove listings or suspend accounts that:
- Sell prohibited or counterfeit items
- Fail to deliver products or engage in dishonest activity
- Use abusive, hateful, or fraudulent communication
- Attempt to bypass the payment system
We always aim to warn or assist first, but serious or repeated violations may lead to permanent account removal.
