Q: How do I buy something on HobbyNest?

A: Simply create an account, browse listings, and click “Buy Now” or “Make an Offer.” You can chat directly with the seller if you have questions before purchasing.

Q: Are all items handmade or secondhand?

A: HobbyNest features both! You’ll find a mix of handmade creations, vintage items, and quality pre-loved goods. Each listing includes a category and description so you can shop confidently.

Q: Can I negotiate prices?

A: Yes — if a seller allows offers. Just click “Make an Offer” on eligible listings and send your proposed price. Please be polite and fair when negotiating.

💳 Payments and Orders

Q: What payment methods are accepted?

A: We currently support secure in-app payments via credit/debit cards, e-wallets, and other local methods (depending on your region). Never send money outside the HobbyNest system.

Q: When is my payment charged?

A: Your payment is held securely and only released to the seller once your order is confirmed as received — protecting both sides.

Q: Can I cancel my order?

A: Orders can usually be canceled before the seller ships the item. Custom or handmade orders may not be cancellable once production has started — please check the seller’s policy first.

📦 Shipping and Delivery

Q: How do I track my order?

A: Once your seller ships your item, you’ll receive a tracking number visible in your Orders page. You’ll also get email or app notifications with shipping updates.

Q: Who handles shipping?

A: Most sellers handle their own shipping using trusted couriers. Some may offer in-person pickup or use HobbyNest’s integrated shipping labels (where available).

Q: What should I do if my item hasn’t arrived?

A: First, check the tracking details and message the seller through HobbyNest. If there’s no update after a reasonable time, contact our Support Team — we’ll step in to help.

Q: How do I start selling?

A: It’s simple! Create a seller profile, upload photos, write an honest description, and set your price. Once approved, your listing goes live on the marketplace.

Q: Are there any fees for sellers?

A: HobbyNest may charge a small transaction or service fee to keep the platform secure and sustainable. Full details are available in our Seller Policy section.

Q: How do I get paid?

A: After the buyer confirms receipt of the item, payment is automatically transferred to your seller wallet or linked account.

Q: How can I avoid scams?

A: Always keep communication and payments within HobbyNest. Never share personal contact details or send money outside the app.
